Have any artwork you would like to show off? Participate in St. Andrews Heritage Centre’s first Art Exhibition! All community members can submit their art and have it exhibited at the Rectory for the month of February. Fill out the submission form and view submission guidelines on our website. Works will be accepted at St. Andrews Rectory the week of January 22-29 from 9:30am-3pm. Don’t forget the Opening Reception on February 1, 6-7pm!

Learn about the art and practice of calligraphy, where guests will be encouraged to find inspiration in their writing and drawing around the Rectory. Guests will be able to use calligraphy pens and experience the techniques of calligraphy writing, as well as get the opportunity to make their own quills. All ages welcome. $5.00 fee. Join St. Andrews Heritage Centre’s first Winter Theory Round Table with guest facilitator Sylvia Dueck as she leads the discussion on the Rectory’s and the surrounding area’s history in terms of Reconciliation.
Sylvia J. Dreaver (Dueck) is from the Mistawasis First Nation. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Art History degree from the University of Winnipeg. She is passionate about Indigenous Art and associated history. Sylvia currently works as an Indigenous Program Guide at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights.

Join St. Andrews Heritage Centre at the opening reception of our Art Exhibition. Celebrate the talent of the community by dropping in to see the artworks at the Rectory on February 1st, where food and refreshments will be served. Opening remarks will begin at 6:00 pm, and all are welcome.

To celebrate the artistic talent in the area, St. Andrews Heritage Centre is having its first ever Art Exhibition! Artwork that has been submitted will be on display at the Rectory from February 1 – March 2. Show your support by visiting the Rectory and viewing the exhibition during our open hours of Monday-Friday, 9:30 am-3:30 pm. Also, don’t forget to come to the opening reception on February 1st!
